AMHERST, Mass. -- Kristin Mapes went 3-for-3 with a home run, and the Williams College softball team scored seven runs in the first inning on the way to an 8-0 win over Amherst on Sunday.

 

Madison Mok allowed three hits in the circle to earn the shutout win.

 

Williams (9-0) goes to Wesleyan on Saturday.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Amherst scored four runs in the first inning on the way to a 5-2 win on Sunday and a three-game weekend sweep of Williams.

 

Nate Orluk tripled and drove in a run for Williams (5-3), which hosts Wesleyan on Saturday.
