PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Berkshire County ARC has promoted two site managers to residential supervisers.
Jamie Sigoski was recently promoted to residential supervisor, where she oversees the operations of four group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Previously she supervised a home in Lanesborough.
Sigoski joins a team of nine supervisors, who, collectively, oversee BCArc's 43 homes across Hampden and Berkshire counties.
A Pittsfield native and mother, she has worked at several human service agencies, and for a variety of programs at BCArc.
"Years ago I saw myself in early childhood education, but after I took a job at BCArc, I fell in love with this kind of work. Now I don’t see myself doing anything else," she said.
Robin Brown will oversee four group homes in her new role as a residential supervisor. She has served as the house manager of two sites for the past year, and before that, worked as an assistant site manager at a Pittsfield site.
"She has always been focused on providing the highest possible quality of life for the people we serve," said Jennifer Rush, vice president for Residential Services. "Robin's enthusiasm is infectious and we feel lucky to have her on the team."
