Williams Women's Soccer Blanks Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. -- Sydney Jones scored in the 82nd minute to break a scoreless tie and send the Williams College women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Tufts on Saturday.
 
Olivia Barnhill stopped four shots to earn the shutout win in goal.
 
The Ephs (12-0-2) Tuesday look to complete an unbeaten regular season when they host Middlebury on Cole Field at 3 p.m.
 
Men's Soccer
MEDFORD, Mass. -- Joe Braun scored twice to lead Tufts to a 3-1 win over Williams.
 
Justin Adams scored an unassisted goal for the Ephs in the 78th minute to make it a two-goal game.
 
Aaron Schein made four saves for Williams (8-4-2, 4-3-2 NESCAC), which hosts Middlebury on Tuesday.
 
Football
MEDFORD, Mass. -- Running back Dom Borelli threw a 13-yard touchdown pass for the only score of the second half Saturday as Tufts defeated Williams, 28-21, to hand the Ephs their second straight loss.
 
Bobby Maimaron threw for 107 yards and ran for 135 yards and a TD for the Ephs (4-2), who go to Hamilton on Saturday.
 
Field Hockey
MEDFORD, Mass. -- Tufts scored two second-half goals to a 2-0 win over Williams.
 
Abby Lloyd and Emma Santucci combined to make eight saves for the Ephs (10-4, 6-3), who host Middlebury on Tuesday.
 
Volleyball
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Williams split a pair of matches on Saturday, defeating Babson, 3-0, and falling to Springfield College, 3-1.
 
Against Babson, Roxi Corbell had 12 kills and 11 assists, and Daiana Takashima had 11 digs for the Ephs (12-10), who go to Middlebury on Saturday.
