Williamstown Town Election Nomination Papers Available Thursday

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Nomination papers for elected offices in the town of Williamstown  will be available on Thursday, Feb. 1, in the town clerk's office.
 
Offices on the May 8 annual town election ballot will be one selectman's seat for a three-year term, two Elementary School Committee members for a term to expire June 30, 2018, one library trustee for a three-year term, one Northern Berkshire Vocational Regional (McCann) School Committee member for a three-year term, and one Planning Board member for a five-year term. 
 
Candidates seeking to run for office must go to the town clerk's office in Town Hall to receive nomination papers. Completed nomination papers must be returned to the Board of Registrars for certification no later than Tuesday, March 20.

The annual town meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 15, at 7 p.m. at Williamstown Elementary School. The deadline to submit articles for the town meeting warrant is Monday, March 26.
