WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Derek Paris hit a free throw with seven seconds left to secure a 39-36 win for the Greylock seventh- and eighth-grade travel basketball team on Thursday.

Parish finished with a team-high 17 points in Greylock's win over Bennington, Vt.'s., Mount Anthony. Dylan Harrison hit a pair of 3-pointers to finish with six points, and Alex Axt scored four for Greylock.

Mount Anthony got 18 points from Anthony Williams and 14 from Austin Grogan.

"Our kids in the second quarter pulled ahead with a 24-15 lead, but in the second half, their big, Anthony Williams, took advantage of his size and killed us on the boards with 12 of his game-high 18 in the second half," Greylock coach Rick Paris said.

Greylock got scoring from nine of its 11 players in the win.

On Saturday evening, it travels to Pittsfield to play the winner of Dalton and the Boys & Girls Club Blue Team in the Boys & Girls Club Tournament.
