To the Editor:
I am writing to express my support for Lisa Blackmer for state representative. I believe she is the best
candidate to fill the unexpired term of my sister, Gail.
Gail was committed to her district and the constituents she worked hard to serve. Lisa has that same dedication, compassion, and work ethic. She has gone above and beyond to advocate for our region in Boston through the Massachusetts Municipal Association and work hard right here at home as a city councilor.
Gail always fought the good fight and took on the tough challenges. She saw her role as one that should bring people together to solve problems and make progress for our district. Her legacy is one of grace, respect, and cooperation.
I am supporting Lisa because she has the experience, relationships, and vision to carry on Gail's legacy in Boston. She will be an amazing state representative and she has my vote on Oct. 10, I hope she has yours.
