WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The deadline for voter registration for the annual town election and annual town meeting is Wednesday, April 19.

 

The town election will be held on Tuesday, May 9, from  7 a.m. to 8 p.m.. Town meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 16, at 7 p.m. Both events will take place in the gymnasium of the Williamstown Elementary School. 

 

There is one contested election on the ballot in the town election: Karen L. Shepard of Forest Road is challenging incumbent Chris Winters for his seat on the Planning Board.

 

The town clerk's office will remain open until 8 p.m. for voter registration on April 19. Mail-in voter registration forms must be postmarked no later than April 19.

 

Residents with questions regarding the status of their voter registration are urged to call the town clerk's office at 458-9341 before the April 19 deadline.
