WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Greylock boys basketball travel team got its season under way this weekend with two wins in its jamboree.
Derek Paris scored 13 points to lead Greylock to a 25-5 win over Adams in the opener.
In Game 2, Lenox defeated Greylock, 15-12, after a 3-point try rimmed out at the buzzer. Malcom Waynick led Greylock with five.
Patrick Ross and Oscar Low each scored three to lead Greylock in a bouncback, 14-10 win over Dalton. Alex Axt hit a jumper from the corner late in the game to help seal the win.
"Overall our kids played great all weekend and we were happy with how they preformed," Greylock coach Rick Paris said.
Paris' team opens travel league play on Saturday afternoon at Mount Greylock.
