Lanesborough Bulldogs Drop Pair at Tennessee Tourney

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. -- The Lanesborough Bulldogs 12-year-old Cal Ripken Baseball All-Stars dropped a pair of games on Friday at the Leconte Experience tournament.
 
In the first game, the Michigan Sting handed Lanesborough a 7-3 loss.
 
Panayiotis Constantopoulos had two hits and an RBI, and Jack Gitterman drove in a run for the Bulldogs, who got five innings on the mound from Josh Polumbo, who struck out six.
 
The Rockstars then defeated Lanesborough, 9-2. Oscar Low and Derek Paris split time on the mound.
 
On Saturday morning, Lanesborough plays the Connelsville Thunder in an elimination game.
