Doyle Powers Krispy Cone to Cal Ripken League Win

LANESBOROUGH, Mass. -- Chase Doyle hit a pair of doubles, drove in three runs and stole four bases Saturday to lead Krispy Cone to a 9-5 win over South Berkshire in Cal Ripken Baseball League play.
 
Doyle also played a strong game behind the plate, hooking up with pitcher Damon Pause, who allowed one earned run and struck out four in 3-⅓ innings to earn the win.
 
Adam Sandifer contributed to the offense for Krisp Cone with a single, an RBI and two stolen bases.
 
Adams Community Bank 12, Fox Homes 4
LANESBOROUGH, Mass. -- Jackson Shelsey struck out eight and allowed no earned runs in four innings to lead Adams Community Bank to a 12-4 win over Fox Homes on Saturday.
 
Miles Cece pitched two innings of scoreless relief and was one of three players to have two hits for ACB. Derek Paris and Anthony Welch also had two hits apiece.
 
Andrew Albert and Jack Clarke each had a hit for Fox Homes.
 
Williamstown Police 12, Lenox Police 0
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Oscar Low hit the first two home runs of his career, including a grand slam, to lead the Williamstown Police to a 12-0 win over the Lenox Police.
 
Hayden Singer had two hits and an RBI, and Austin Buda had a key hit to set the table for Low’s slam.
 
Joshua Polumbo and Low combined to throw a no-hitter to help Williamstown Police move to 4-1 this spring.
