WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Daniel Aronowitz scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and passed out five assists to lead the Williams College men's basketball team to a 76-65 win over Bowdoin on Sunday.

 

Cole Teal scored 17 -- five on 3-pointers -- for the Ephs (11-5, 2-2 NESCAC).

 

Lucas Hausman scored 26 points for Bowdoin (8-5, 1-2).

 

Williams plays Hamilton on Friday.

 

SKIING

LEWISTON, Maine -- The Williams College skiteam finished fifth at the season-opening Bates Winter Carnival on Sunday.

 

The Ephs totaled 409 points. The University of Vermont finished first wih 719.

 

Hannah Hunsaker finished 10th in Sunday's slalom at Sunday Mountain Resort. In the Nordic competition at Quarry Road, Eli Hoenig finished fourth for the Ephs in a freestyle race.
