WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Williams College men's hockey team upset third-ranked Plattsburgh State (12-3-1) 3-2 at the Lansing Chapman Rink Saturday afternoon.

 

The Ephs (10-3-1, 6-1-1 NESCAC) won their fifth straight with sophomore DAvid Italiano scoring two goals and freshman Michael Pinios stopping 43 shots.

 

Williams hosts Bowdoin on Friday night.

 

WOMEN'S HOCKEY

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Sarah Lehman scored with 18 seconds left in regulation to give the Williams College women's hockey team a 2-1 win over Colby on Saturday.

 

Williams (8-5, 5-3) got 20 saves from Christina Cleroux.

 

The Ephs play Manhattanville College on Tuesday.
