DALTON, Mass. -- The Adams fifth- and sixth-grade boys basketball team Sunday defeated Greylock, 44-39, in the championship game of the Jim Horth Memorial Tournament, hosted by the CYC at Nessacus Middle School.

 

Carson Meczywor scored 10 points for Adams. For Greylock, Derek Paris scored 18, and Tate Kuster added nine.

 

Earlier in the day, Greylock defeated the Boys Club, 48-27, to reach the final.

 

Derek Paris scored 15 and Thomas Martin added 12 for Greylock, which rallied from an early 12-11 deficit and used tough defense in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.

 

Cam Sime scored six for Boys Club in the loss.
