WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Emily Kreuger and Chelsey Stevenson scored two goals apiece to lead the Williams College women's hockey team to a 7-1 win over Bowdoin on Friday night.

 

Christina Cleroux stopped 17 shots for the Ephs (6-3, 4-1 NESCAC).

 

Williams hosts Bowdoin (3-5, 1-2) again on Saturday at 3 p.m.

 

MEN'S BASKETBALL

AMHERST, Mass. -- Jeff Racy and Connor Green scored 16 points apiece to lead the Amherst College men's basketball team to a 68-66 win over Williams on Friday night.

 

Edward Flynn scored 16 for Williams (8-4, 0-1 NESCAC).

 

Amherst (11-1, 1-0) committed just five turnovers while forcing 13.

 

Williams is at Trinity on Sunday.

 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Hannah Hackley scored 21 points Friday night to lead the Amherst women's basketball team to an 80-44 win over Williams.

 

The Jeffs (11-0, 1-0) held Williams to 40 percent shooting from the field and forced 33 turnovers.

 

Amanni Fernandez scored 12 points to lead Williams (10-2, 0-1).

 

The Ephs host Trinity on Sunday.
