MIDDLEBURY, Vt.-- Amanda Dafonte assisted on both goals in the last 10 minutes of the game to give the Middlebury College women's soccer team a 2-0 win over Williams on Tuesday.

 

Rebecca Palacios and Amanda Hotvedt scored for the Panthers (6-4-5, 4-3-3 NESCAC), who handed Williams its first loss of the season.

 

Tressa Palcheck stopped four shots for the Ephs (13-1-1, 9-1), who open the NESCAC tournament on Saturday at 11 a.m. against eighth-seeded Hamilton.
