AARP Foundation Finances 50+ Offered in May

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Elder Services of Berkshire County's Money Management program is sponsoring a free financial literacy program, AARP Foundation Finances 50+.

The program is open to anyone age 50 or older who wants to get motivated and empowered to take charge of his or her finances, now and in the future.

The program will be offered at the Harper Center in Williamstown in four 90-minute sessions on May 4, 11 and 18, with final session June 4, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Participants must attend all four sessions.

Workshop topics include Basic Principles of Managing Your Finances, Setting and Attaining Financial Goals, Learning How to Make a Budget and Keep to it, Getting out of Debt and Repairing your Credit, and Building and Protecting your Assets
