Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program Begins Spring Enrollment

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Enrollment is beginning at the Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program for Jan. 12 start of classes.

Free classes are offered for High School Equivalency Exam preparation (GED) and Pre-College Skills, English for Speakers of other Languages/US Citizenship Preparation and Basic Skills.  New programs include Career Pathways; college and career readiness and Distance Learning; online High School Equivalency Exam preparation. ​

New this year: North Adams residents may also be eligible to have the HiSET (GED) testing fee paid, receive one to one career planning and assistance in finding training programs, employment or post secondary opportunities. Transportation support may also be available. This new program is supported in full by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts DHCD with funds made available by the city of North Adams.
