Print | Email

All Saint’s Episcopal Church and Northern Berkshire United Way will sponsor the Thanksgiving Meals for senior shut-ins.

Residents in Adams, Clarksburg, Cheshire, North Adams, Florida, Savoy and Williamstown who are 60 years of age and have no other way of having a Thanksgiving dinner may make a reservation by contacting All Saint's Church. Call 413-664-9656 Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. You can also leave a message on the answering machine, leave your name, address, town and phone number so that we can confirm your reservation.

The deadline for reservations is Friday, Nov. 21.

The program has provided meals since its inception 30 years ago when the director of Help Line a hotline/information and referral program became aware that there were senior residents in Northern Berkshire who went without a turkey dinner and company on Thanksgiving Day. A meal is delivered on Thanksgiving Day between 11 a.m. and noon by volunteers. Volunteers are needed to deliver meals on that day.
