Princesses!

Outgoing Aggie Fair Princess and Prince Noelle Dravis and Spencer Boucher crown this year's winners, Nora Therrien and Dane Greenhalgh.

ADAMS, Mass. — It was a close race, but the new Adams Aggie Fair prince and princess have been crowned for the 40th year of the fair.

Dane Greenhalgh, 6, of Williamstown was named the prince and Nora Therrien, 7, of Savoy was named the princess at a ceremony Saturday morning at Bowe Field.

The two were chosen out of a field of seven contestants who had to answer questions about their favorite animals, why they wanted to win the crown and more. A panel of four judges - including the first-ever male judge - decided the winners.

Dane and Nora were officially awarded their crowns by last year's winners, Spencer Boucher and Noelle Dravis. Their official duties included handing out ribbons at the end of the fair on Sunday, and they will also represent the fair by riding in a convertible in the annual Fall Foliage Parade in October.

Children ages 5 to 7 are eligible to enter the annual contest. For more information, visit adams-agricultural-fair.org.
