WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Chamber of Commerce elected its executive officers for 2014 during its January board of directors meeting.
Elected as president is Jason Dohaney, an active member of the board since 2012 and previous treasurer. Dohaney is an investment adviser at True North Financial Services, a division of MountainOne Bank, and has been serving investment clients since 2007.
He also is chairman of the advisory committee for the Fund for Williamstown, a Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation fund.
Rebecca Gold, a native of Williamstown and local business owner, was elected vice president. Gold has been a member of the board since 2012 and was co-vice president in 2013. Associate broker and co-owner of Burnham Gold Real Estate, she has worked within the Berkshires selling real estate for nearly 10 years.
Williamstown resident Tracy McConnell was elected treasurer; she joined the board last year. McConnell's career in banking has been with the same firm, now known as MountainOne Bank, since 1995, progressing through titles as assistant head teller, loan administrator, loan operations officer, loan officer and assistant vice president. She is currently vice president of commercial lending.
The secretary is Berkshires native Bernadette Lupo. A graduate of Framingham State University, Lupo is the marketing and communications director at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. She joined the board in 2013 and also serves on the communications subcommittee.
The Williamstown Chamber of Commerce serves Williamstown and neighboring communities by supporting efforts in communication, education and coordination of members, residents and visitors.
