CeramicFest at IS183 Art School - October 07, 2008
Stockbridge - IS183 Art School in Stockbridge is hosting CeramicFest, a benefit for IS183’s Ceramics Department, on Saturday, October 18, from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. The event will take place at IS183, 13 Willard Hill Road in Stockbridge, and will include demonstrations in IS183’s ceramics studio and a warm hearty lunch served in keep-sake ceramic bowls made by IS183 faculty and students.
CeramicFest tickets are $20. Tickets may be purchased by telephone, 413-298-5252, ext. 100, or at the door. Additional ceramic pieces will be on display and available for purchase at CeramicFest including special edition commemorative IS183 bowls designed by Ceramics Studio Manager Ben Evans.
CeramicFest is sponsored by Bartletts, Berkshire Mountain Bakery, Guidos Fresh Marketplace, Haven, and Route 7 Grill. IS183 Art School is a non-profit community art school encouraging people of all ages, means and skill levels to enrich their lives through hands-on experience in the visual arts.
Located half-way between Great Barrington and Pittsfield in the Interlaken village of Stockbridge, IS183 Art School offers year-round programs in ceramics, painting, drawing, fiber arts, sculpture, mixed media and more for children, teens and adults.
