The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend. |

Berkshire Young Professional's Speed Networking Palooza - June 04, 2008
PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Young Professionals, a program of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, will host their second Speed Networking Palooza on Thursday, June 26, 2008, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. The event will be held at the Top of the Crowne at the Crowne Plaza Pittsfield~Berkshires. Attendees will have the opportunity to compress the networking impact of a dozen after-hours events into a few minutes without the serenading typically required at traditional networking functions!
The event will begin with casual networking at 5:00 PM and move into the Palooza from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. The cost is $10 and all attendees will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will also be available. Those planning to attend should bring plenty of business cards to maximize their networking experience.
