The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend. |

 Wanted: Eagle Eyes MassWildlife's annual eagle count runs Dec. 31 to Jan. 14. Anyone sighting one of the regal birds in Massachusetts is asked to participate.

Coalition Annual Meeting Announcement - May 21, 2008
Please join us for the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition. The Annual Meeting will take place on Friday, June 6 from 11:45 a.m-1:30 p.m at the Williams Inn in Williamstown.
The guest speaker will be John Auerbach, Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, who will be addressing current public health issues affecting the Commonwealth. Northern Berkshire Heroes Dick Alcombright and Stan Brown will be honored.
There will be presentations by youth participants in UNITY as well as a performance by the Experience Dance ensemble of Northern Berkshire Neighbors. Music will be provided by Tony Pisano and Friends.
The suggested donation to attend is $20. Companies and larger organizations are encouraged to reserve a table for the celebration. You can reserve a seat or a table by returning the attached flyer, or by contacting the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition at 663-7588.
