The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend. |

Simon's Rock Accepting Applications for Exhibits Program - April 02, 2008
GREAT BARRINGTON – The curator of Bard College at Simon's Rock's collections and exhibitions has announced a new Library Atrium Gallery Exhibitions Program.
Margaret Grant said the program will focus on emerging Berkshire artists, and applications are currently being accepted for the 2008-2009 academic year. Emerging artists may be of any age, and their work must not yet have been widely exhibited. The Exhibitions Committee, which includes members of the arts faculty at Simon's Rock, accepts and reviews applications from emerging artists in our region. All applications must be submitted to the Exhibitions Committee by May 1 for the following academic year. A brief gallery talk is required of selected artists. For guidelines and an application, visit Simon's Rock. For more information, contact Grant at mgrant@simons-rock.edu or 413-528-7389. |
