Tree Lighting Ceremony at Park Square in Pittsfield - November 30, 2007
The Department of Community Development has announced that the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Park Square on Friday, December 7 at 7p.m. The Taconic High School Honors Chorus will perform.
Santa Claus will arrive following the tree lighting and will be available for photographs and to speak with children. Free hot chocolate will be available to all, courtesy of Applebee’s.
This year’s tree was donated by Louie and Connie Martineau of Pittsfield.
Those planning to attend the ceremony are asked to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Christian Center’s food pantry.
