Sherry L. Briggs, 59

November 23, 2018


WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Sherry Lynn Briggs, 59, of Williamstown died peacefully surround by her family on Friday, November 23, 2018, at the Berkshire Medical Center. 



She was born in North Adams on December 15, 1958, a daughter of the late Herman and Rose Myrtle (Cole) Briggs. She attended schools in North Adams and Haverhill, Mass. Sherry was employed at various businesses in the area, including Shine Wire, and was last employed as a school bus driver for Durfour Tours, a job she loved. 



She loved being with friends and family, arts and crafts, and all animals, especially her dog Coco and rabbit Bandit.



Survivors include her son, Tony Briggs of Williamstown; her brother, David Erwin Briggs and Evelyn Gonzalez of Florida, Mass.; her sister, Marilyn A. Honig and husband Duncan of Stamford, Vt.; several nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion and father of her son Tony, Timothy Randall of North Adams. 



She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.



Funeral notice: Funeral services will take place Thursday, November 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Calling hours are Wednesday, November 28, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers maybe sent to the funeral home.

Tim so sorry to hear about Sherry passing away. I used to be her neighbor on Beaver Street. I send out my condolences to the whole family. Keep her in our prayers. Also I will keep her on our prayer list.
